Quinado Vitaminado Ramos Pinto
Wine made exclusively from Ruby Port Wine, under a secret formula, by adding quina (cinchona of the calisaya species), originating from the islands of St.Tomé and Principe. Quina is extracted from the bark of a tree variety that has febrifuge properties. It has been used as a treatment for malaria due to its high content in vitamins. Since it was founded, the Ramos Pinto House has produced its quina wine ("Quinado Vitaminado") which is an excellent aperitif, tonic, fortifier and fever remedy.
Ramos Pinto "Quinado Vitaminado" wine may be served on its own, with ice, either with or without lemon, with gin and tonic water.
