Épernay, the capital of the Champagne region, has an extremely rich history and lies near the River Marne, amidst hillsides and woodlands. It is the headquarters of the main Champagne Charles Mignon labels, one of the few Champagne houses that is still entirely family-owned. Charles Mignon has been a member of the prestigious "Union des Maisons de Champagne" since 2003.
