BONS ARES WHITE 2025

BONS ARES WHITE 2025

Quinta dos Bons Ares is located in the Upper Douro, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa. It is a very specific place due to its granitic soils and altitude (600 m), which give the grapes structure, acidity and an aromatic potential that is unusual in this region. This wine from Casa Ramos Pinto is a good example of innovative tradition. A modern classic.
The great challenge of 2025 came with the absence of rainfall from May onwards and with the extremely high temperatures recorded since the end of June. Despite these demanding conditions in the region, the specificity of the Quinta dos Bons Ares terroir, which benefits from cooler temperatures, allowed for high-quality grapes and quite balanced productions. The harvest of the white varieties began in mid-August, with the Sauvignon Blanc, and ended in the third week of September, with the Rabigato.
