Appearance - Medium intensity red color, clean and bright.
Aroma - A reductive bouquet that opens slowly, revealing a different Douro. Earthy, resinous, and forest-like aromas are prominent initially. After aeration, livelier aromas such as cherry, freshly cut grass, and freshly picked coffee beans emerge.
Taste - On the palate, it is a mature wine, with a velvety entry, a sensation of riper fruit, and green pepper, which persists in a long, fresh, and structured finish. The Tinto Cão 2019 is a special wine from an excellent year.
